A relief print using color reduction. Three colors were used for each print, 4 variations were made. The Letter Press was used to add words to the print, adding additional meaning to the piece.
The print is of a record player, the words “on air” printed above the image. This piece is meant to convey how music is so universal. Sometimes listening to music is a small intimate thing when listening alone and sometimes it’s something so large and energetic like during a party. A record player is something that is usually found in a home, but the words “on air” twists the message, like when music is streamed or heard on the radio to a larger audience.
